Resident Knits Teddies for Neonatal Unit January 2020

Edna delivers her hand knitted teddies to Frimley Park Hospital’s Neonatal Unit.
Edna with Steve one of our activities coordinators were greeted by a lovely member of staff who was delighted with the teddy bears Edna had knitted.
The lady explained that these are given to the babies while they are in the incubator and are to be taken home with them. Edna loved the idea that they could end up in someone’s memory box. The lady also explained that whilst they have booties and hats knitted they don’t have any bears to which Edna grinned from ear to ear.
Edna could not have been happier. She did not stop talking about “the day she will remember for ever”
