Staycation Cruise Wey Valley House August 2020

Wey Valley House residents enjoyed a staycation Cruise around the Mediterranean on the hottest day of the year so far.

While on their cruise they were entertained by Tracy Smith who gave a wide variety of songs including some from the countries they visited. They had food and wine from each region. To help them feel they were on a cruise staff had made port holes with pictures of each destination and sea view when sailing between each country which was attached on the walls.

Palma, Spain – Tapas, Spanish omelette, Aioli, Sun blushed tomatoes and Rioja wine.

Rhodes, Greece – Olives, Feta cheese, Pitta bread, Humous and Mavrodaphni of Patra wine.

Venice, Italy – Pizza, Crosstini, Cheese or Chive Straws and Pinot Grigio wine.
