The Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society has three care homes in Farnham, one in Reading and a sheltered house in both Guildford and Haslemere all offering a warm, friendly ‘home-from-home’ environment.
Charity Status
Managed as a charity, the Society is overseen by professional trustees and skilled volunteers drawn from the local community.
A Chief Executive manages the operations and a professional management team runs each of the homes. In addition, residents are invited to regular meetings where they are encouraged to play an active role in the running of the home they reside in.
Comfort
Every resident enjoys a spacious, pleasantly decorated en-suite bedroom together with several lounges in each home to allow for quiet seating, conversation or watching television.
On-site chefs ensure nutritious and well-balanced meals are tailored to all tastes with a variety of choice for all. Beautiful, well-maintained gardens are a feature of all the homes while a programme of activities on and off the premises encourages participation and companionship.
We are hugely grateful to all of you for the kind and perceptive way you looked after our mum, we know she had absolute trust in the care you gave her and feeling safe and secure is perhaps one of our deepest and precious needs.
