Pay and Benefits
- Pay per hour Monday to Friday starts from £12.00 for inexperienced. We pay £2.00 per hour extra for weekend shifts. Please see details for each vacancy, below, for exact rates.

Home Care Manager (Dorking)

Dorking – Home Care Manager
The Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society are launching a Home Care Service for Dorking and the surrounding area.
(Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship to work in the UK).
The role:
This exciting new role is responsible for commissioning the service and delivering high quality care to Service Users. The new Registered Manager will be expected to recruit staff and build a network of Service Users.
The role will be supported in house by our experienced Operations and Marketing team but the main momentum of the service will be lead and driven by the new Registered Manager. As an experienced Home Care Manager you will be expected to build the business and to launch within a minimum of 2 months within post.
Domiciliary Care Assistants (Farnham / Surrey)

Domiciliary Care Assistants needed to become part of our small, established team working in and around the Farnham, Surrey area.
We are a not-for-profit home care service where the personal touch is the most important thing.
About you: Care experience is preferred, not essential, but you are required to have a UK driving licence and your own vehicle.

Relief Housekeeper / cook

Shifts
15 hours a week working Saturday 9am-2pm and 4pm-7pm (both shifts are worked on the same day) and on
Sunday – 9am-2pm. The role holder is also expected to cover holidays for the Housekeeper, as needed. Advance notice will be given. The successful candidate must be available to provide holiday cover during September 2024.
Duties

About you
You’ll have worked as a professional cook for a minimum of a year. You’re also professional, confidential, caring, trustworthy, respectful, flexible, empathetic, have good English communication skills, reliable, can use own initiative and are approachable.
Maintenance Person – Oxted, Surrey.

This role will report to the Facilities Manager and work at our care home for older people in Oxted.
A full Job Description is available on request. Duties are briefly:
• Ensure that all delegated maintenance tasks with the home(s) are carried out to a high standard.
• Promptly report any issues to the relevant Registered Manager and the Facilities Manager.
• Ensure that all records pertaining to mandatory checks and health and safety matters are maintained in the stated time frames.
Hours of work
Full time 37.5 hours weekly. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break.

• Clean driving licence with use of own vehicle (work mileage will be paid at 45p per mile).

Care Assistant – Oxted

A Care Assistant is needed now for David Gresham House, our care home in Oxted, Surrey.
We are looking for the right person to join our well-established care team.
Shifts
The role offers 22 hours per week working Tuesday and Saturday nights 8.30pm – 7.30am.
Pay and Benefits
Hourly pay Monday to Friday starts from £12.05 for day shifts once you have passed your Care Certificate and £12.25 for nights shifts (with a Care Certificate). We pay an uplift of £2.00 per hour at weekends
Cook-full-time (Dorking)
- Location: Coldharbour Lane, Dorking, RH4 3BL, England
We are looking for a full-time Cook for our friendly, 44-bedded care home near the centre of Dorking. This role is responsible to the Chef Manager.
Shifts
Full-time – 35 hour week working a mix of shifts* 7.30am-2.30pm and 12.30pm-7.30pm with alternate weekends. (Candidates must be able to offer the flexibility to work shifts on any day Monday to Friday as well as working alternate weekends).
Pay and Benefits
Starting pay from £25,025 per annum which includes an hourly uplift of £1.85 per hour for weekend hours.
Night Care Assistant – Dorking, Surrey

Roles Available
• 1 x 33 hours/week (Nights – Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)
• 1 x 15 hours alternate weekends working a mix of early/late shifts (one on Saturday and one on Sunday)
• 1 x 20 hours/week in a two-week shift pattern. Week one shifts: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday working a mix of early/late shifts. Week two shifts: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday working a mix of early/late shifts.
Shifts
