Hatch Mill has 27 individual nursing rooms on the first floor and 19 residential rooms on the ground floor. There’s even 1 double room, for couples, on each floor.
Both floors also have a spacious dining room and lounge. Inside, there’s also a wheelchair-accessible lift, a newly redesigned foyer (we love it!) and a gorgeous sunroom.
Outside are our beautiful landscaped gardens, with a peaceful Japanese courtyard garden in the centre and a pond that’s teaming with wildlife – bring the binoculars!
Hatch Mill’s comfy individual rooms and open communal spaces are full of light, laughter and love. This residential and nursing home is surrounded by natural beauty that’s a tonic in itself – whether you’re inside or outside.
Unburdened by thoughts of shareholder dividends, our amazing Hatch Mill team has just one aim – to give the best care possible. A team of registered nurses lead the clinical care of residents who need full nursing care and are available 24 hours a day. And everyone is committed to keeping the person at the heart of their life at Hatch Mill – not the patient.

Every room has a view, with a private aspect. All the vistas are a little bit different but there’s a bit of green for everyone – and natural light whenever the sun pops out.
All the rooms are furnished with a bed, free-standing wardrobe, telephone points and wifi. Decoration is calmly neutral – and we encourage people to jazz things up by bringing their own bits and bobs with them or small pieces of furniture.
For peace of mind – all rooms have a call bell so residents can call for assistance at any time.
A proper treat for the taste buds – our dedicated chefs whip up a scrumptious variety of home-cooked meals, using fresh ingredients, every single day. Whether your family member fancies something specific or has special dietary requirements, our kitchen team goes the extra mile to ensure everyone’s needs are met.
Mealtimes here are something residents look forward to, we make an occasion of it. And now and again, we tuck into themed lunches celebrating world cuisines, national events, and traditional British occasions – any excuse for a bit of a party!
If they enjoy popping into town ‘for a few bits’, residents can stroll into Farnham town centre in about 10 minutes. Or they can hop on one of the local buses, if they prefer. The train station isn’t far either, with regular services to London and all around the local area.
Need a bit of help getting somewhere? Not to worry – our lovely local volunteers are more than happy to lend a hand with transport when needed. In the vicinity, you’ll find handy neighbourhood shops, a post office, and a friendly local pub for if you’d like to take loved ones out for a meal when they visit. And when they come to visit their loved one, there’s plenty of parking right here on-site for everyone – no need to hunt for a space!
Hatch Mill is served by the local doctors’ surgery, and medication is handled by our care teams. Residents can keep their own doctor, if the surgery is able to accommodate that in their new address. We have a fully kitted-out salon in the home and, for small additional costs, chiropody treatments or weekly hairdressing appointments can be arranged.

I regularly visit Hatch Mill to visit my aunt. I always find the home in a calm state with contented residents and staff who are competent and attentive to residents. I have full confidence in the staff who are well managed and can be relied on to do the right thing in all cases.
My aunt is so content at Hatch Mill, and the staff seem happy to offer support to the family and loved ones at any time. Even in these restricted times, they keep me updated with all that is going on, and it is good to know she is cared for so well. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.
Since mum moved to nursing care in November 2022 the quality of the care has been exemplary. She is no longer able to make much obvious engagement with most of the organised activities, but does seem to enjoy getting out of her room from time to time.
