Ridgway Court is a two-story residential care home in Farnham. There are 16 single bedrooms that are fully ensuite, with either a bath or a shower.
Ridgway Court has a gorgeous private garden full of mature trees and shrubs that our gardeners keep perfectly manicured. It makes for glorious views from inside the home. Residents can sit out on the patio – it’s a notorious sun-trap! – or in our tranquil gazebo.
At Ridgway Court, care comes before profit. As a charity, we don’t have shareholders to satisfy, our only aim is to improve the lives of the older people in our care. And we love doing it!
Our person-centred approach to care means that residents, staff and volunteers create a family atmosphere together. It’s such a lovely, cosy feel at Ridgway – and you can always hear someone having a giggle! We celebrate birthdays, remember anniversaries, welcome visitors and do everyday essentials – together.

All our bedrooms are flooded with natural light and tastefully decorated, with a lockable bedside cabinet and free-standing wardrobes. Different rooms offer different views, but each one provides that all-important sense of privacy.
We know how much personal belongings matter, so do bring in those special furniture items, meaningful ornaments and family pictures to personalise the space. For your peace of mind, every room comes fitted with a call bell for immediate assistance when needed, and our Wi-Fi service is available for those ‘silver surfers’ who want to go online.
Our marvellous chefs certainly ‘know their onions’ when it comes to creating tasty, varied meals from fresh ingredients each day. If your loved one has specific dietary requirements or food preferences – our kitchen team will sort them out.
Every meal at Ridgway Court is ‘family style’ – we all value the community spirit of sharing meals together. Although, if they prefer a bit of peace, residents can opt to take their meals in their room.
Throughout the year, we enjoy themed lunches celebrating global cuisines, national events, and beloved British traditions – always a jolly good time that you’re very welcome to join!
Of course, there’s also drinks, homemade snacks and fresh fruit available for whenever anyone’s feeling peckish between meals.
Ridgway Court is near some local shops that include a Tesco Express, butcher, and delicious fresh bakery (yes, we’ve done taste tests!).
For our more active residents, Farnham town centre is a 20 minute walk, or there’s a regular local bus. The nearby train station links us to the surrounding area and London – making visiting more do-able.
For a small additional fee, things like chiropody and hair appointments can be arranged for onsite visits.
Ridgway Court is linked to the local doctor’s surgery and medication is managed by our care team. Residents can keep their own doctor if they wish and the doctor is able to keep them on.

My mother has been at Ridgway Court for 3 years now, during which time she has required a great deal of physical and emotional support. The staff constantly adapt to her needs and are a great support for me. I feel that she is well cared for in a small, friendly environment. During this Covid year, the team at Ridgway Court have made sure that I could visit my mother several times a week, either outdoors, or in the visiting pod. I am very grateful to the staff for all their efforts at this extremely difficult time.
Mum is happy in the care home, which offers a caring and courteous atmosphere. Residents are respected and their opinions listened to, and there is a lot of interaction and conversation between the care team and residents on an informal basis, not just when care tasks are being carried out.
Staff really friendly and helpful and the residents seem to share a very active environment.
Really good to see my father's friend enjoying life to the best of his ability and his family are very grateful to all the staff within the home.
