The beautiful home sits in a quiet, yet conveniently set location overlooking Surrey’s famous Box Hill. Nower House provides residential accommodation and is divided into two annexes, the Woodcote and the Nera, with residents enjoying their independence within the home’s plentiful lounges, restaurants, conservatories and gardens.
Nower House provides residential accommodation for fifty residents and for couples provides four double rooms.
All the spacious rooms have en suite facilities and a number of the rooms have their own outside space to enjoy. There are two lounge / dining rooms, two TV rooms a library and a pleasant conservatory which opens out onto the landscaped gardens that host an amazing selection of wildlife.
The home provides a perfect environment to enjoy an independent lifestyle with the support of twenty-four hour care.

Home-from-Home Comfort
The accommodation has been designed to make our residents feel comfortable in their surroundings. We actively encourage residents to furnish their room with some of their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity.
The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and all have a vanity unit and self-contained, en-suite toilet facility.
Facilities include: digital Freeview TV aerial point and SKY box connection, BT telephone point, lockable bedside cabinet; switched lighting and hard-wired Call-bell system and privacy thumb-turn to bedroom door.
To make Nower House more ‘homely’ it is divided into two Annexes. These provide an extensive amount of communal areas, which include two large Lounge/Dining Rooms, a quiet Lounge, two TV rooms and a Conservatory where residents can relax or entertain their visitors.
High-quality Cuisine
At Nower House we understand that the ample provision of good quality, nutritious, home-cooked food is a major component for health and well-being and in ensuring an overall positive experience in our residents’ daily lives.
The cuisine is all locally sourced and freshly prepared each day. Our Kitchen Staff provide a varied and balanced menu that can normally cater for special diets and individual preferences, where requested.
At Nower House none of the meals served are delivered ready-made and all dishes are cooked on the premises in our well-equipped professional kitchen, which has received the maximum 5 (Very Good) Food Hygiene Rating, from the visiting Food Standards Agency Inspector.
Additional snacks and drinks are also served and freely available from cooled-dispensers in both Lounges and water jugs in every bedroom, throughout the day. Residents can choose to enjoy the social aspect of meal times by taking their meals in our comfortable communal Dining rooms or can share their meals with more privacy in the Quiet Lounge, TV rooms or Conservatory, if they so choose.

Positioned on the edge of the beautiful Georgian town centre of Dorking , Nower House is not far from a bus route and train station serving the local area and London.
Within a ten minute walk there are an array of local shops, restaurants and facilities such as the leisure centre and the home, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, enjoys wonderful countryside views overlooking Surrey’s famous Box Hill.

Nower House is served by a local doctors’ surgery or alternatively family doctors will be happy to visit the home. For small additional costs, residents can enjoy on-site chiropody treatments or weekly hairdressing appointments in the home’s own salon.
