Domiciliary Care Assistants (Farnham / Surrey)

Domiciliary Care Assistants needed to become part of our small, established team working in and around the Farnham, Surrey area.

We are a not-for-profit home care service where the personal touch is the most important thing.

About you: Care experience is preferred, not essential, but you are required to have a UK driving licence and your own vehicle.

Competitive pay rates: For those without an NVQ, hourly pay is £13.68 on week days and £15.13 at weekends (bank holiday rate £20.44). If you have an NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care, our hourly pay range is £14.38 per hour week days up to £15.88 at weekends (bank holiday rate £21.57).

Work hours that suit you. We do require staff to be able to commit to working a few hours on alternate weekends.

The Role
You will be visiting elderly people in their own homes to ensure that receive high standards of care and support, promoting their independence, choice, rights and quality of life. You will be providing:
· companionship
· accompaniment when going out of the house
· personal care eg, support to wash and get dressed
· meals and nutritional support eg food preparation and serving
· medication support
