Maitland House Canal Boat Trip along the Basingstoke canal August 2023
Maitland House residents enjoyed a trip on Dawn, Accessible Boating canal boat, along the Basingstoke canal. They went from Odiham to Winchfield, had a picnic and then returned back to Odiham. Some comments of the day included, slow and peaceful, enjoyable, beautiful, magnificent trees, lovely picnic, calm and picturesque and wonderful company. They loved seeing all the ducks, a little steam boat, lots of canoeist, rowing boats and paddle boarders pass by. Thank you to skippers, Andy and Dave for a wonderful day out and letting Kellie and Lucy have a go at steering the boat.
