Maitland House Trip to Museum of English Rural Life June 2023

Maitland House residents enjoyed a trip to the Museum of English Rural Life (MERL). They walked around the museum admiring the size of the carts and wagons, also remembering things from their childhood such as milk being delivered on carts down the street and suttons seeds which was founded in Reading. Once they had been around the museum everyone enjoyed sitting outside with an ice cream
