Volunteering
Volunteers are vital to the success of Abbeyfield and those who spend time with our residents share our values to give older people as much control over their own lives as possible.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and enjoy spending time with residents, getting involved in various activities such as helping with shopping and doctor’s appointments, playing games or even making friends with those who simply love a chat.
Volunteers often lend specialist skills too, such as organising social events, providing entertainment, teaching computer skills, fund raising and more.
